LỜI MỞ ĐẦU

Nowadays, law plays an important role in people’s society. Throughout the history, people willingly started to transform or organize their societies into States – higher authorities as a better way of executing such rules. The set of these rules soon became a system of legal rules called the law which has been made and enforced by the State. To ensure the effectiveness of law and deal with various cases caused by people, the court system was established with highest to lowest levels. The UK is known as the birthplace of common law and also has a stable court system that exists and is made up of specific principles and traditions. As a result, many countries’ legal systems were set up based on the UK standards, including Vietnam. However, due to different factors in economy, culture and society, the court system in each country has its own features. In this assignment, I would like to compare the court system in Vietnam and in the UK to analyze and clarify this issue.
